We are delighted to offer a retreat at Embercombe. We feel their mission statement aptly sums up this location: “Embercombe inspires people to take courageous action for a just, peaceful and sustainable world.” With an emphasis on connection to nature, sustainability, and community spirit, our weekender at Embercombe is sure to be memorable on many different levels.
Accommodation is in a shared yurt (three single beds) with communal showers/wc within the “village”. Exeter St David’s is the closest station to Embercombe and is approximately seven miles away. Please consider car sharing if traveling by car; Embercombe is just off the A38 at Exeter Race Course.

Please note: Embercombe is a rural venue and working farm; the ground could be muddy, slippery and uneven; also in some areas there are ditches to allow for drainage - this can make moving around the land difficulty, especially in the dark. Over and above anything for the craft itself, the following would be useful for staying at this site : a torch, walking boots/ wellies/ waterproof footwear; a waterproof coat.
